Scan and display exe even if they do not have the file extension "exe".

EXEscanner can scan and display over 6 types of executable programs, even if they do not have the file extension "exe". It also has a basic Heuristics detection (which is often false-positive, and is therefore suggested to ignore unless you do not recognize the exe found, or the exe is in a hidden temporary directory. Note: Do not delete detected executables solely on Heuristics. EXEscanner is mainly to scan and display hidden executables. Note 2: Double-clicking a List item will led you to the Executable's directory.

One of the Best Poratable EXE Scanners.

Pros
It detects malware apis properly and the most common malwares that are possible. I tried this program on friends PC his AntiVirus didn't catch the malware but this program did.
Cons
The Author has made us fully aware of the limited accuracy of the Heuristics, however the tool would prove to be a lot more helpful if it was more accurate. I believe the author is working on this, so I would love to have an update.
Summary
This is one of the most efficient and portable Exe Scanners i've seen. I dont use avs since they slow my pc down, so I searched and came across something as small and efficient such as this application.The detection of malware apis is great. I totally recommend this application for people.
