Pros
The application is free.
Cons
ClamAV has a long history of false positives eg. search google for "ClamAV false positive". The false positives have the effect of fooling end users into believing that the anti-virus application works well.
Summary
Very significant false positives from ClamAV include NSIS installers, Winamp player, Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Shockwave Player etc. etc. etc. When false positives are reported to the developers for correction ClamAV is extremely slow to update. The ClamAV database is also distributed by other developers on other platforms, which in turn leads to an even larger base of false positives. If you want something that is both reliable and won't hinder your experience on the web there are better applications out there, but they are not free.

- Doesn't slow down your PC - fast scanning(though it only scans your computer memory) - cloud based AV - good interface - works well with other AV
Cons
- Doesn't have an offline scanner - NO right click context menu scan(right click>scan with blah blah)
Summary
Clam AV is a good program(even the clam av offline scanner). This is a good EXTRA protection over existing AV. It will enhance your security. But this program needs to improve, maybe add a right click context menu scanner. 4 stars for me.

Pros
This product detected three critical objects, which my usual scanner failed to detect. The scanning is fast and the tool is light on resources, so will not slow your computer down and use too much ram

If your computer has slowed down a bit, it is worth downloading this and give it a health check. I am happy with this

Pros
I installed this previous to it being on Download.com and I have nothing but praise for it. It detects threats for me and is fast and very light.
Cons
I do wish it was a little more fully featured. The 2.0 version is supposed to fix this though and it's shipping this summer.
Summary
This is worth installing. It can install alongside other Anti-Virus with no visible performance hit.
