• Worked Great, can't beat free

  Pros

  Used this to time a 5K with around 300 participants; had no problems. Love the large race clock that you can display on an external montitor... and LOVE the web interface for local computers. Connected to my router, then opened browser. done!

  Cons

  To get the most out of the software, you need to use the online registration and management site they provide (www.eventcow.org). Not really a con, but I already had another provider and was too late to swap.

  Summary

  Bottom line, if you are a race director, esp for running events with up to around 500 participants, give this a shot. There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get running with it, there really isn't much to it and it'll greatly relieve some stress from day of event registration and timing. Good Luck! Oh also, if you decide to use this to process registrations on the day of a race, I suggest doing so through the web interface, I actually like it better than the local interface.
