  Pros

  converted DRM epub format book I needed for my book club into kindle format and transferred to kindle no problem. I downloaded trial, did the one conversion I needed and then uninstalled. Checked for malware, viruses etc after uninstall. All clean. Seems a really good program.

  Cons

  None that I could see. It is a bit expensive, but if you have a lot of books to convert it is probably worth it.

  Pros

  Converted my DRM-protected .epub file to a .mobi file with no problems. I transferred it to my Kindle and was good to go. No bloatware, adware, etc. detected yet. I recommend the "direct download" link.

  Cons

  No option to let me put a new cover on the book (an admittedly pretty minor "con").

  Summary

  This software is a 5-day trial. I haven't decided if I need to buy it or not. Probably not since the $29.95 price tag is pretty high for something I might use a couple times a year. Calibre was going to let me put a cover on it, but Calibre couldn't convert a DRM protected epub file. I've only converted one file, but was very happy with it.
