  Pros

  Uh, the famous guitar piece that they stole for the background music. Oh wait, even that has a terribly choppy "crescendo." Well, I guess another pro is that it was definitely worth the download for a good laugh.

  Summary

  1) cnet has officially dropped off the map for me in terms of a review site. Do they hire teenagers to do their reviews now? Who would rate this and all the other Metal Tear "screensavers" 4-stars?? Their electronics reviews are untrustworthy now as well, I've found. I suspect they have moved to a volume strategy - get as many reviews of products/software up as you can, as quickly as you can (which means they spend 5 min's max with each product). 2) What do these Metal Tear "animations" (I use the term loosely) have to do with being a screensaver? It's basically a Flash "movie" with a barely animated scene. 3) Enjoy the flowers rippling with the ocean. Haha, this thing is garbage. 4) If this was done by a elementary school student, I would say, hey, that's pretty cool, good job! But this is a software company. OMG haha, I'm really enjoying this terribleness. 5) Wow, I just noticed the static shark shadow. 6) Where is the demon from the publisher's description? 7) The best part might be the sunset, which flickers like an electric candle in a cruddy Pirates of the Caribbean exhibit built in 1980. 8) The user reviews must be paid for or added by the publisher. Who would call this "stunning?" 9) Most importantly, don't forget: cnet rated this FOUR STARS!! Haha, cnet, you're a joke. Anyway, I'd definitely recommend downloading this piece of garbage for a laugh. Also, be sure to check out their screensaver, Lake Queen, which I plan on reviewing next. This also looks atrocious. I think more people deserve to see this. I always want to take the time to watch movies that get horrendous reviews, like Megashark vs. Giant Octopus or what have you, but that takes too much time. This only takes a minute! And for the benefit of others, if you found this review helpful, please thumb it up. And his screensavers do a great job of setting a mood - in part due to his excellent musical selections, and in part due to the dark, hidden mysteries he likes to include - like, wtf is that shark? Is that the demon's spirit returning? We may never know!

  Lovely to lookat at visualy, tells a story in iteself. Wonderful art and has been animated accordingly. And the music fits perfectly!
