Pros
This product has interactive multimedia to teach you how to play chords and a blues chords song. It's a lot of fun and a great way to learn guitar especially for a beginner. It includes video, sounds, printed music, and an interactive interface.

It has one usefull thing and thats how the Blues pattern works. All you do is strum down long and strum up short. Then it has a song "Midnight Special" Thats it. There is nothing else. TWO PAGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I teach guitar and the biggest problem I have is keeping my student from getting bad habits.Unlearning bad ones is too hard.This gets you off to a good start <p>and no bad habits get formed.
Cons
The only downside is the add on song selections. They are great for 28-55 yrs. <p>but what about 18 ?

This program does nothing more than show you how the full version of the software would work. This free version contains one guitar lesson and a poor one at that (I figured that riff out years ago). Thanks to eMedia for wasting my time, one lesson is not going to show users what kind of education they will get from your software. If this is the best you guys can do, next time don't bother.

Full-motion video from guitar instructor Kevin Garry, Ph.D., demonstrates this key blues technique with close-ups. 'Midnight Special' and accompanying warm-up exercises include an animated fretboard, which displays fingerings in real-time, and is adjustable to four separate viewing angles. There is also a looping option on the notation, which you highlight any section to repeat over and over again. Multi-track audio gives full-band accompaniment. A variable-speed MIDI track option allows students to practice at whatever tempo they wish.
