In Einstein’s Cats, you’ll spend most of your time reading through layered logic puzzles, where each cat’s preference builds on the last. The clues are strictly verbal — no color-matching shortcuts or visual hints. These conditions overlap quickly, and you’ll need to consider all of them before placing a single cat. There’s no timer, no penalties, just you against a quiet storm of deduction.

When you're not sorting cats, you’re unlocking collectible stickers and adding them to your sticker book. These stickers include everything from new cats to playful accessories and decorative backdrops. The interface lets you drag and drop items freely, so you can arrange your pages however you want. This gives you a visual record of your progress, though, sticker book is optional and lacks gameplay depth

With over 100 puzzles, the settings rotate often enough to avoid repetition. Every cat is drawn with care, whether it's wearing a hat, a bow, or just a particularly smug look. While none of the environments change how you play and no hint system for stuck puzzles, they do shift the atmosphere as you progress.
