When activated, ecoPrint2 Ink and Toner Saver resides in the system tray and does its work in the background, so there is no need to make adjustments every time you print. New ink saving settings can be activated via one click. Version 2.0.2 includes unspecified updates.

It works well with my Canon Pixma printer

Pros
Printing photos with anything but Canon paper is impossible without reducing the amount of ink used and ecoPrint does that easily. If you don't use it photos dry with an orange peel effect
Cons
I had Strident InkSaver before and prefer its interface. Its probably only a matter of being used to a programme and not liking change

Pros
It was really easy to use; didnt ask me what printer I am using. A simple easy to understand dialogue pops up and asks me how much ink to save. I picked 35% saving and the quality was great. Looks like it works with laser printer as well.
