  Pros

  If you know the TCP/IP address for each network machine or computer, then you can quickly and easily see if that MC/PC is online.

  Cons

  Does not work well (as far as I can tell) with dynamic TCP/IP allocation;

  Summary

  Will play with it further, in case I am missing something. I thought that when I was adding a NW entity I could just specify its Name and it would find the current TCP/IP address, and the diagnostic it gave was unclear at best. The help is non-existent (linking to the web for FAQ is not really help). The menu item '+Add' is cryptic.
