Pros
1) You can include an animated 3D object in a screensaver without Direct-X programming knowledge, with an easy-to-use interface. <p> <p>2) You can use GIF files as animated "sprites" to enhance the 3D object animation. Such as "snow" sprites falling around a rotating 3D tree. <p> <p>3) It creates a reasonably small installation (setup) file.
Cons
1) The full "Pro" version 3.0.0.2 has a too-short (30 characters) field length for the buy-now URL. You cannot determine this in the trial version. <p> <p>2) A 7-day (or any number of days) expiration message will only appear one <p>time, and thereafter presents a blank screen that will confuse potential <p>customers. Or even worse, cause them to think something is wrong with their computer. <p> <p>3) The expiry message is limited to 3 short yellow highlighted lines on a <p>black screen, and that's it. You cannot present a custom expiry image. <p> <p>4) Any background image you use is scaled to 512x512 and used as a texture. It is <p>always quite blurry. This is done to cater for PCs with old hardware, at the expense of newer machines, which are far greater in number. <p> <p>5) An undefined "sprite" will cause the program to hang after installation, but you have to figure this out yourself. <p> <p>6) Support does not really care to hear about problems, and does not fix them. Most of the reviews your read about this product do not deal with the licensed PRO version, so you don't find out about the bugs until you buy it. <p> <p>7) This is not a bug, but a weakness: There is no means of plotting an exact animation path for a 3D object. It can only rotate, or move in X, Y, and Z directions via a very inexact "diameter" control. Only one 3D object can be imported into a screensaver and manipulated. <p> <p>8) The program has not been updated since 2003, version 3.0.0.2i (the "i" is just an updated installer, no change to the program).

I just don't get it. I tried for about an hour and it seems that you can't import your own objet (jpg, gif). So what is the point ?
