  I'll use it for a while and let you know. Note: I was trying to use Microsoft Windows 10 back up. What a piece of crap that is. Easy Backup was the answer.

  Pros

  The backup file use the generic ZIP format. Recovery CD can restore on a new computer with different hardware than the broken computer. FTP and cloud backup are supported. User command line before after and between files backup for more flexibility.

  Cons

  The help file can be more up to date with more example. It take time to master all options.

  Summary

  Solid for the price, better than many other in day to day use. The continuous data protection can protect you by the minute for any disaster. Good support, multi languages, Developer are open the listen for new feature you may suggest.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I have been using 'EaseBackup' for at least 6 months on my computer that is running Wndows XP (SP2), and I am VERY impressed. To be more specific, it is the support that I have received that has particularly impressed me. These days when it is not uncommon to wait for days for a response from a support team, I have received replies to my problems from the developer in a matter of a few hours and always directed to me personally, not some computer generated generic type response. In fact the current version was as a result of correspondance between myself and the developer over a problem in transferring the disaster recovery data to a CD. In general I have found the program easy to understand and use. It backs up all my files to a second hard drive on my machine and allows me to setup a schedule of incremental backups, which therfore do not take up vast amounts of space. When you relate the cost of this program against what it does and compare it to other products that do similar jobs, it is extemely reasonable.

  Summary

  I installed the product and didn't care for it. When I uninstalled it the Microsoft Backup wouldn't work until I re-installed this product. Took me two days to resolve this issue.
