  EarMaster School v4.0 is the best computer music tutor I have seen so far which actually teaches practical aspect of music to the students who already finished their rudimentary training. It teaches complicated terms in minutes which otherwise one may take long time to learn.

  As a music teacher, I've seen lots of music education software. This is by far the finest ear training program I've yet encountered. I plan to purchase a lab pak for my school. Highly recommended.

  I read some other reviews, and though that people were exagerating their comments, but this program really is the best possible. It contains all rhythmic, melodic, chordal and modal exercizes imaginable. Guitar, Piano and others (I think). Intervals, Jazz chords, rhythm playing (with mic or spacebar), mode reccognizing (Doric, Aeolian, Mixolydian...), everything! Each lesson has a tutor with at least 20 different levels per topic. Beginning with basic, reccognize major or minor, to advanced ex. XMaj7(b9). Comes with configurable accounts for use in schools, and keeps detailed statics to show results. Extremely impressibe program
