  Pros

  It is free. When it works (once in a while for a while) it is very helpful in that it saves the time of completely creating a new listing each time. And did say that it is free?

  Cons

  There are so many that I can only cover a few: 1. It is slow 2. A large part of the time there is some issue. 3. I have lost track of how many times I have lost the pictures or the wrong picture show up from some other listing! 4. The picture editor is pure junk--I have given up using and just upload the pictures and fix them online. And did I mention how slow and unreliable it is? 5. The latest in a very long line of problems is that I can not upload anything because when I try it tells me that there are no pictures and you must have at least one picture. Well, the pictures are right there--I am looking at them! I delete them and reload them and I still get the same result. I now have 1,400 listings in Turbo Lister 2 that I can not use. 6. You can't get customer support for Turbo Lister--when you need it. 7. Did say that it is a Constant problem and I have complained to Ebay for years about this product and it never gets fixed but, there are a lot of worthless updates

  The people at Ebay responsible for Turbo Lister should all be fired. They should then start over and create a decent program. If you want constant grief use Turbo Lister 2! I would have listed more cons but that box would only allow me to use 785 of the allowed 1000 characters--speaking of software problems

  It is free to use (assuming you have a lot of free time).

  Cons

  It's slower than a constipated dog. Using the Ebay online interface is much faster. Too bad it is not possible to save your listings on Ebay.

  It's a piece of shit. Save time. Don't download turbo lister.

  Pros

  No pros that I can think of except as a record of past sales, providing it will sync with your computer - and even that seems to be totally hit or miss.

  Cons

  As far as listing anything is concerned, one can spend hours carefully describing one's items only to find that when trying to upload them (via Turbo-Lister's "upload" button), some robot-driven protocol checker on Ebay's end rejects the entire lot without giving the user ANY indication as to why or which item is not conforming. Then it's up to the user to try and upload EACH item individually until through trial and error one finally discovers the item that did not meet the upload criteria which is nowhere explained on either Ebay or Turbo lister - and which differs significantly by category - e.g., electronics versus clothes. On top of this, after creating listings for 10, 15 or even 20 or more items and then attempting to upload them, I have frequently gotten the message that "Turbo Lister has stopped working" - which means that there is some software incompatibility between my computer and the Ebay servers - and which CANNOT be solved except by using an entirely different computer

  Summary

  Turbo Lister is an outdated piece of trash and an insult to Ebay sellers (but when it comes to Ebay sellers, what else is new?) Rather than ever risk using Turbo Lister again, I now just overwrite an expired current listing right on the Ebay Seller's page which is 100% faster, more reliable and less frustrating. Lest anyone think this is an exaggeration, please note that none 34 of 34 respondents to this review as of June 29 2015 rate this program higher than one star.

  you can list items on ebay with it - just about ..

  Cons

  everything just about - apart from being able to list items .. *once you have more than 5 listings saved, the program becomes ridiculously slow *it can be quite buggy and unreliable at times - item titles change or disappear, photo's dont load etc etc. frustrating and it takes an absolute age to load the listings on ebay *upload speed - 10kb/sec - do me a favour, you spend ages writing up the listing, ages waiting for the fee's to be calculated then ages waiting for the listings to be uploaded, by the time its done its too late for people to stay up and bid on them! I dread to think what it is like for users with a fair few listings!! Absolute garbage!!

  Summary

  Extremely disappointed that a multi million dollar company like eBay do not have a flagship selling app with all the bells and whistles on. What they are currently dishing up is nothing short of a disgrace - they need to go back to the programming board and bring out a more reliable, stable and quicker program for listing your auctions. The amount of time spent waiting for something to load, waiting for fee's to be calculated, or for errors to be cleared is nothing short of preposterous ..

  Summary

  Sudden crashes, frequent data base corruption, loss of work in progress - very frustrating recently and has totally stopped me from listing anything for months. I cannot understand how eBay can let such poor software exist such that their (and my) bottom line is affected. Incredible how they do not react to any of its problems. Tech support is poor - nobody to talk to - only email support and responses on web to questions. I am going from an eBay Powerseller to a non-seller due to this program's problems. Deserves a "0" star rating.

• A Clever Fraud By Ebay

  Pros

  Hopefully Ebay will be prosecuted for defrauding their sellers. At a minimum a class action lawsuit should be lodged against them.

  A brilliant scheme to create extra revenue for Ebay by defrauding sellers. Everyone agrees that Turbo lister is horrible and cant understand how a multibillion dollar giant like Ebay could distribute such terrible software for over a decade. Turbo Lister is awful by design; it is no accident. Ebay has a policy where sellers are charged insertion fees EVEN IF THEY CANCEL THEIR AD. Turbo Lister wrecks such havoc to your listings and data that your natural response is to take down your ads to correct them. Ebay is happy to oblige you but they will charge you all those same fees when you resubmit the corrected ad. The average Seller on Ebay loses money. When you factor in the value of your time, only a tiny percentage of Sellers make money. There are far better markets to sell your wares than Ebay.

  Ebay management likes to boast that TL is free but the truth is that if they charged for it, the market's overwhelming criticism would force the price down to near free. Have used many dozens of software, for over 25 years, but nothing compares to Turbo Lister in crash frequency and unreliability. Only a company as dishonest as the Ebay Corporation would perpetrate such a piece of @#$@#$ on consumers.
