This does exactly what it says on the tin and does it well. It's very simple and easy to use but some people may find it a little basic but if you're just looking for a basic address book script then you can't go wrong.
Most likely the best phone-book out there

Needs a way to sync database between PC (I think the developer is working on that)

Can't believe the Winnie Butts that complain about a FREE program and not give the developer a chance to repair a glitch! I had a small problem when first installed and it was solved the very same day ( not like Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc....); hence the new update Oct 10th to Version 3.0.4.3. So, all you Cry Babies out there give em a chance, it cost you nothing.

None - Offers what any base address book application SHOULD offer! Nothing special here!
Cons
Spend HOURS entering names, addresses, personal data, setting up groups, etc. Then one day... out of the blue (no computer crash - no other problems) Your entire data file is GONE! G - O - N - E !!! The first time this happened was with an older version, and on a different pc... This was the last time!
Summary
Do yourself a favor, friends. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH E-Z CONTACT BOOK!!!

Nice program, you can access your email client and Google maps from it.
Cons
When importing a VCF file the county field was truncated to three characters, eg "Shropshire" appeared as "Shr"
Summary
Because of problem in (4) I'm still looking. I did check for updates, and it said an update was available, but the new version was the same as the old.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Aug 16, 2013<p/>I've been told the problem mentioned above is a known issue and is being fixed. Now I've had time to play with this program some more I love it to bits. I especially like the feature during imports where it finds an existing and imported record are similar it allows you to manually adjust the fields before importing. When using CSV files you can manually match imported fieldnames with database fieldnames - brilliant.

Pros
This little contact program reminds me a bit of Apple's old Hypercard program. Very simple to set up and use, hard to screw up, and it just sits there waiting for your inquiries. Not as complicated as some MS apps, which is a good thing - they were too complex anyway. All I need is a place to jot down the numbers, emails and addresses of some people that I do not want to lose. East to separate into groups also.
Cons
Change comes to all good things, and E-Z Contact Book is no different. But every time I try to execute a software upgrade, I wind up losing whole batches of data, and then have to restore from my back-ups. But all is forgiven, because the upgraded program now works well enough better, that the trtansition is just something you have to accept.
Summary
Keep up the good work....but don't get carried away! Simple is good. I like this program. Doesn't give me any trouble. I can even do some simple invoicing, and letters withn envelopes!
