Dungeon Trail is a premium role-playing game that immerses players in a guild management experience within a roguelike dungeon crawler setting. Players are tasked with assembling a specialized crew to navigate unpredictable floors and confront the Lord of Greed. Each room introduces new threats, demanding strategic decisions to guide the party through challenging encounters. The game emphasizes the importance of dice rolls, blending probability with tactical gameplay, as players must manage their resources and deploy limited items wisely to avoid total party wipe.

As the Guildmaster, players recruit from 15 distinct class archetypes, each with unique abilities, to survive multiple floors filled with enemies. The turn-based combat system relies on dice rolls for offensive and defensive actions, and players can spend gold for rerolls or Tricks to mitigate unfavorable outcomes. Clear text boxes provide damage indicators during battles, enhancing strategic planning. While the game features a retro-style anime aesthetic, occasional lag may occur during intense combat sequences.
