• Fantastic program

  Simple to use, and easily able to be tailored to accommodate your own unique financial situation. Also, it's designed and maintained by a very helpful, courteous man who ALWAYS answers forum questions on the product.

  Cons

  It's a little bit rudimentary in it's presentation. But the pros far-outweigh the cons.

  Summary

  I have been a religious user of this program since 2008 (when it was called Simple D Budget). It was instrumental in allowing me to get to the bottom of my spending issues. It was dizzying trying to find a simple way to organize all the overlapping bills I had, and how much I was really making. Sure there are other solutions out there that may have done the trick ... but this is the one I'd stumbled upon, and I'm very thankful I did.

  All on one page. It doesn't say it is compatible with windows 7 but that is what I have and it works beautifully!

  Not aware of any!

  Seems like it could have been simple to use.

  Cons

  Took down my dell latitude. only used it for 15 minutes until it froze up. I had to hold in my power button for 5 seconds to turn off my laptop. after that, my laptop hard drive died.

  Summary

  I thought this was going to be a stand alone program that didn't access the internet to enter my budget info. deleted my deductions section in income and deductions and it crashed my hard drive after 15 minutes of use. Hard drive is now dead!!! Guess I'll go back to using my Microsoft money.

  It's easy to use, not much of a learning curve, just what I wanted. Keeps a record of monthly income and expenses in a very simple way.

  Cons

  No cons. The program lives up to it's name, and free.

  Summary

  If, like myself you are looking for a simple program to keep an eye on your basic finances, this is a great little program. If you are looking for an in depth and secure financial program I suggest you go upmarket.

  Pros

  Simple to use, nice charts, easy to read, easy to manipulate, saves every last used document.

  Cons

  No paid version that I am aware of. Help file doesn't really contain any help data.

  Summary

  Love this budgeting software, goes from month to month easily and everything is adjustable. The only real problem I had with it is that some of the features that would be available in a paid version happen not to be available because there is no paid version.

  If you are looking for a simple to use and understand budget software, then look no further..Some people were saying they couldn't print with this, but it does allow you to print and also allows for saving so info is not lost,..
