• Only 1G of space. Doesn't tell you up front,

  Pros

  Great for someone with minimal space needs.

  Cons

  The free part is only 1G of space. You have to pay for anything beyond that. I read through their info, spent time downloading it, and time fooling around with the program before this was brought up. It should be the first line of information so people know up front.

  Pros

  set and forget; it is easy and reliable. better, it lets you choose which folders to backup; and can group different folders to different tasks. Finally, it can keep multiple file versions; and it doesn't delete files after delete the source files

  Cons

  I am satisfied

  Summary

  Data backup, remote file server, FTP server, folder synchronization, version control, a lot of features, very easy and reliable client software. If it is for business, then buy it!

  Pros

  Backup and straight copy work very well. Can ANYONE do it better? Everything works straight from the desktop. Its fast, and its clear what is happening. Multiple backup copies (versions) can be made.

  Cons

  Email online cannot be sorted alphabetically.

  Summary

  I can't say more than I have said above. From the file storage area files can be shared and even published for public use.

• Great backup software, lost of other services

  Pros

  I tried some other popular backup service, DriveHQ Online Backup has more features and works more reliable.

  Cons

  While the Email backup is included as PST file backup, new Email Backup software is separate. I like EmailManager, it is a lot better when backing up many emails.

  Summary

  I think the product is of great quality. The only issue was with my anti-virus software. Once solved, the software is fairly easy to use. The upload speed is interesting, overall I am satisfied. On my ADSL connection, The max upload speed is about 50KB/sec, but the software sometimes go as fast as 400KB/sec. On average, it is still slower. than 50KB/sec, not very fast, but I know it is due to my internet speed. Still the software was able to upload 5GB of data in one weekend. Another nice feature is you can access your files online and share files with other people and you can use FTP, which many other companies don't have these features.

  Pros

  After 20GB, i subscribed 50GB (51GB) and i really like their service. Last year i got Vista with my new PC, and when i restored all documents, music, saved programs, etc, my all data was back without any hassle. Great program.

  Cons

  Vista issues that some PC's had - However, they still like to keep their own style, unique controls and non-resizable windows, what may confuse and are annoying sometimes, but you will learn it. Use your mouse and hover it. ;)

  Pros

  I have subscribed their 20GB (21GB) service, so far i am satisfied their service.<p>Last year i got Vista with my new PC, and when i restored all documents, music, saved programs, etc, my all data was back without any hassle. <p>After you learn DriveHQ controls, you can just forget it. Maybe uniques system, but you will learn it.

  Cons

  Some bugs - fixed now and some mysterious errors - sometimes, also unique controls and non-resizable windows may confuse and are annoying sometimes, but you will learn it ;)

• Excellent solution for business backup

  We installed DriveHQ Online Backup 4.0 to backup multiple file servers offsite. It was easy to setup a backup task to backup a local hard drive. But to backup a network drive is a little more complicated. The server computers sit in a corner with nobody logged on most of the time. So we need the backup to run when nobody is logged on; and we need it to backup network drives, and we need the backup software to send backup status email everyday. <p> <p>We contacted DriveHQ customer support; the support was excellent. Everything was smooth except backing up a network drive didn't work. We were told that the DriveHQ Online Backup service process must run as a user who have access to the network drive. After changed the service logon account in Control Panel, now everything works perfectly.

  Cons

  The solution works great for businesses. It might be a little bit complicated for consumers. But DriveHQ support is great.

  Pros

  Online Backup 4.0 works great for me. I like the new feature that I can log off my PC without interrupting the backup tasks. The new version is also more reliable to resume interrupted tasks. I use it to backup my laptop Outlook emails and sometimes I cannot wait for the task to finish and press the standby button. This used to cause problem with 3.8, but this version works fine

  Cons

  It was not clear the differences between FileManager and Online Backup. I thought they were the same. But I found it later that I really need both of them for different purposes.
