• EZ Way 2 Add Awesome Animation Effects to Images

  Pros

  DP Animation Maker offers an easy way to add a wide variety of amazing animation effects to photos and graphic images. DP outputs to .avi video, animated .gif, and an .exe. THEREFORE, you can add mobile friendly FLASH-LIKE content to your website without using real Flash. The software is very easy to learn and requires no coding skills. Even my grandmother uses DP to jazz up her pix! DP installed nicely on Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64. HOWEVER *** WARNING *** If you have a previous version of DP installed, UNINSTALL THE OLD VERSION BEFORE INSTALLING A NEW VERSION!

  Cons

  Output file sizes are a little large, running around 4 to 6 MB...not too great for mobile site content. BUT you can convert the file size downward using video & format conversion software. No compression feature for animated gif output. That is the biggest drawback.

  Summary

  Overall, this a great software for adding Flash-like effects to images. The price is very fair at $29. I really like this software and find it is useful for web design (when the client is too cheap to pay for professionally made content in Photoshop or Flash Pro, etc.) TIP: Buy the add-on DP Extension Pack for under $10. It adds a lot of additional awesome effects. But the Nature Extension Pack sucks...don't buy it.
