Used Download Sort for Windows?
Editors’ Review
It's easy to set up this simplified Firefox-only download manager. That's the last easy step, as this add-on failed to recognize a single tested file type. Download Sort doesn't add a toolbar icon or context menu link. A settings window is the only interface to this simple app.
Settings are basic, and so is the window design. No help file is offered, but everything is neatly and logically ordered. Extension and keyword options allow a great deal of flexibility toward designating where downloaded files are placed. A no-frills file browser helps you quickly select a destination folder while radio buttons cover the six filename options. Testers tried a variety of extensions and settings mixes, but nothing happened except the typical Firefox download process. Regardless of extension or keyword, the files weren't directed to the designated folders, and no prompts appeared to ask us for a file name when that setting was selected.
Firefox users are never short of add-ons to test. This faulty download manager is one you'll want to skip.
