  Pros

  Double twist looks like an iTunes knockoff, and to some extent it is. I find it useful for syncing my Android with material on my macbook. And it's free, at least for the cabled version.

  Cons

  Not fully functional with Apple products; free version requires a USB cable.

  Summary

  Highly recommended for those of us with cross-platform needs. Docked a star for incomplete mac functionality and not making the wireless version free.

  It is good, but it lacks bluetooth functionality and you have to get a barcode scanner to download apps form android market.

  Seriously, what kind of product doesn't offer podcast subscriptions? You can search for podcasts within the application, but are then met with a "coming soon" message (my personal pet peeve).

  Summary

  It may sound like the salve for all wounds, but if they would open source their player it would dramatically increase the odds that someone else would add podcast subscription support. Because it cannot be THAT hard. As it stands now, the doubleTwist app for Mac just feels like a second-rate citizen and leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

  it allows Mac users to do what BB new Mac sync (even PC's sync from BB) will not let allow us to do ... not sure what happened to Pocketmac, but BB's software is horrible ... gracias doubletwist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Pros

  I wanted to synch one of my iTunes play lists to another MP3 player. The synch worked, despite app being VERY slow to import play lists (I actually resulted to deleting all but one of my iTunes play lists as a result of the poor performance).

  Cons

  The disappointment for me was that this app installed a auto started background service which CONTINUALLY polled my hard disk (without any indication as to what it was doing); I rapidly removed the application.

  Summary

  Promising but not quite there yet.

  Doesn't have the Home Sharing feature of iTunes I'd like to have the option to have it autosync music on multiple computers in a home network. Not a big deal though.

  Simple drag and drop functionality make it super easy to add your digital media to your smart phone/BB/etc.

  Cons

  Haven't tested it enough to find any yet.

  Summary

  A must download for anyone looking to add more than mp3s to your smart phone. It's FREE people, def give it a shot. I've seen similar software costing $40.
