But with Windows it's not so easy to access memory addresses unless you have a Port I/O device driver that allow the access to these memory addresses. DOLLx8KD is a popular I/O Port Kernel Device Driver that has been on the market for more than 15 years and used by people world-wide. This new version is now also compatible with Windows 7 32-bit version. It is really easy to install and use this I/O Port driver. Once installed, the address range can be set and the OPEN and CLOSE driver commands will activate or de-activate the driver. The containing DLL will manage all I/O functions for 8, 16 or 32-bit operation. The driver is really fast and can be used to any kind of data I/O including streaming from ADC or DAC's.
