DK Face Your Fears II for Windows

DK Face Your Fears II is a horror-themed display font designed specifically for dramatic titles and poster artwork. Created by David Kerkhoff of Hanoded, this font features a distressed, hand-drawn brush aesthetic that evokes the appearance of frantic ink or blood strokes. It is distributed as a standard TrueType (.ttf) file, offering basic Latin coverage, and is particularly suited for graphic designers, poster artists, and creators in the horror genre looking for a bold and impactful headline typeface.

This font's unique distressed brush texture integrates seamlessly into artwork, giving lettering an organic quality that feels like part of the image rather than merely typeset text. With jagged edges and irregular baselines, it creates visual tension that allows headlines to stand out over photographic or illustrated backgrounds. As a display-oriented face, the full version provides professional kerning and a complete glyph set, ensuring high-quality layout work, while the demo version may lack essential features for some applications.
