Displaperture for Mac

Displaperture for Mac is supposed to bring back the look of older operating systems, but all it does is allow the viewing screen's corners to be rounded.

This small and rather basic application is free, which isn't surprising given its limited functionality. A small menu appears after startup that contains a picture of a Mac screen and a short explanation on how to use Displaperture for Mac. Check boxes allow the user to round any of the screen's corners. Removing or adding marks to the check boxes immediately removes or adds the edges. A slider allows changes to the size of the corners and can considerably shrink the screen size. Changes can also be applied to the main menu, or all menus if the user desires. There is an About button that displays the current version of this application and a Quit button to exit the app. During testing all of the available functions responded quickly, but the program lacked any other features.

While functional for its limited purpose, Displaperture for Mac lacks any additional features that would increase its appeal. It's worthwhile only if you want to make a few minor changes to your screen's appearance.
