DiaryOne is an attractive program that allows users to create a customizable and secure electronic diary. Although many of the program's features can be found elsewhere, its sleek interface and organizational structure make it a good choice.

The program's interface is intuitive and reminiscent of Microsoft Office products; the toolbar on the left reminds us of Outlook, while the formatting buttons across the top will be familiar to users of Word. Users can quickly move from month to month using numbered tabs to the right of the screen. We do wish that the program had more than two options for its skin; the default is a sedate brown, while the other option, "Romantic," is an unattractive lavender. That's a minor complaint, though; the program is otherwise nice to look at and easy to navigate. The built-in Help file is brief and obviously not written by a native English speaker, but we didn't really need it. The program has a nice assortment of features, including the ability to add images and sound to entries. We were excited about being able to record an audio entry, but we found that the playback of the recording was of very poor quality. We liked that users could group entries by category for viewing, and thought that the cash-flow feature, which allows users to track their daily expenditures, was a nice touch. Overall, nothing about the program blew us away, but it is of higher quality than similar program's we've seen.

DiaryOne has 30-day trial period. It installs without issues but leaves a folder behind upon removal. We recommend this program to all users.

Summary
Hello! I wanted to try DiaryOne - but instead I got PIMONE... Also: during the installation PCTools Firewall said that this program tried to manipulate some protected registry keys on my Firewall. Is this normal? Can someone test this program?

I downloaded it directly from the PIM site and AVG caught a Trojan horse Generic 26.APOF.

It's got a great number of features and has a great design,very pleasing to the eye. I just got it so I haven't checked it all out but it is a beautiful design and you can voice record for the day too! Best Diary I have come across.

It cost money ! lol !! but there is a 30 day free trial.

The best diary I have come across and I give it 5/5 Updated on Nov 5, 2011I did go ahead and buy it and all I can say is that it's one of the best if not the best for the price range Diary I have come across. I use it more now than previous Diaries. I haven't checked out fully all it's functions so I will update this as soon as I have done. Very beautiful interface and customizble.

1.Can format texts. i.e, can color,change font,style of the text,you write. 2.Pictures can be added. 3. Music can be added. 4.Comes with a package of beautiful skins that we can change to make the cover look beautiful. 3.Doesn't take too much space and is very light on resources. 4.No technical glitches either. 5.However I didn't export anything to web so can't comment on that. So all in it gets 10/10 on my list and it is still my most favorite software.

I downloaded the programme and then it wanted to check for updates...that then hung up, so I attempted to uninstall the programme but it froze my computer.

Pros
Diaryone Version 6 has a really nice user interface and numerous options. However, the nicest part is that you can just open the program and type, if you wish. There are new options, such as publishing to a Windows Live blog or sending an entry via email. Multiple diaries are easy to use. I see a few reviews stating that this software should be free, but if it was, I doubt it would be so fully-featured.

Its like ur own diary only its digital and lets ur add music, pictures and videos! Th design is such that it resembles a real diary. Having tons of features so that u can put ur thoughts and feels just the way u want it. If u love writting diary, ur search ends here. With a simple and effective design and amazing amount of features, u will surely fall in love with it!

Its not free. But good packages are paid packages! Lol. Though i still feel its a tad bit too expensive. But anyway.
