Though this simple application helps you categorize desktop icons, we were disappointed by the results. Desktop Organizer & Arranger works by physically dividing your desktop into up to nine sections, each representing a category into which you can drag and drop your icons. The categories include headings such as Folders, Documents, Audio, and Games, but you can change any of the names. You also can adjust the color and font of the dividing lines and headings. If you want the icon arrangement changes to take effect, however, you must disable the auto-arrange icons option in the context menu of your desktop. In short, this program doesn't really offer useful features, as the sections work only as separators. Anyone seeking a true desktop manager should look elsewhere.
Organize your desktop splitting it into sections.D.O.A. is a unique desktop manager that allows you to split your desktop area into 4, 6 or 9 sections, which can be labeled individually. Then you can arrange your icons in a way that you can easily find them. D.O.A. basically acts as an overlay, it does not change your wallpaper, nor does it interact with the desktop in any way. Simple but effective for those that need to organize their desktop.
