• Great calculator for accountants and professionals

  I've tried many so called software desktop calculators, but none of them was able to replace the real thing on my desk. But this on does, I use it every day and couldn't be happier with my choice.

  it does everything my real printing calculator does, plus some basic scientific features like exponents, sine, log, etc.

  I can't really fault them for this, but I wish it were free.

  Pros

  Easy to use. The tapes are easy to store. I've had no functional problems with Deskcalc since I started using it. I purchased it.

  I could use bigger print on the keypad.

  Despite the fact what "Chris Randall" says in his review, I've downloaded this proggi and I'am happy about that. My spyware program has identified NO SINGLE spy-addware and this program doesnt call home! To summerize it all up, its easy to use has a tape with textfields, undo/redo and a great currency converter.

  As soon as I installed this, I was informed by Windows that it was trying to phone home. For shareware, that's completely uncalled for. In use (and parts of the program are not in English, so this is a trial-and-error type of thing) I was about half-way through adding a very lengthy column of numbers when a window popped up containing a language I assume is Swedish, with a click box. I clicked the box, and the program immediately closed. In another instance, my wife was adding another lengthy column of numbers (we're doing taxes for our business) and the program just stopped adding halfway through. To sum up, in use this program actually created more work than it helped, as in both cases we had to re-add the invoices. We downloaded another program. In removing this one, we found that it had dropped a payload of spyware in our computers, as well. Nice guys, this company.
