Day of the Shell: Prologue is a free, turn-based strategy game where you explore a flooded world as a monster huntress. You'll travel to islands, battle enemies, and try to appease the gods. Think tactical roguelike meets Waterworld.

  • Pros

    • Intriguing world map with 13 unique locations to explore | Strategic turn-based combat keeps you on your toes | Experiment with combining blessings and relics for power boosts | It's free, so there's no harm in trying it

  • Cons

    • Full game isn't due until mid-2025—that's a long wait | Only five enemy types might get repetitive fast | Just a taste; leaves you wanting the full experience
