This unique and free screensaver pummels your PC with up to 10 simultaneous tornadoes. Although not a marvel of modern graphics, Cyclone Screensaver gets its point across, and it's nice that the tornadoes gradually morph colors as they spin. The feature set gives you a decent deal of control over how the cyclones look and behave. You can not only decide how many tornados should appear, but you can specify particle size and complexity; movement speed; and thread priority. Before downloading this application, you should know that its rather unorthodox installation process requires you to copy an SCR file into your Windows root directory. Still, storm chasers, weather enthusiasts, and science buffs might find that this free desktop decorator suits their tastes.

Pros
Nothing worth mentioning
Cons
Just use one of your preset screensavers. This one isn't even worth downloading.
Summary
It's different, but you'd want this type of screensaver

It does move around
Cons
I expected a different kind of screensaver
Summary
Simple, in a good way, natural-looking vortex motion

Pros
Good fun...
Cons
No complaitns.
Summary
I wish the cyclone would, instead of blanking the screen, begin by swirling across the desktop, sucking fragments of windows into the vortex.

Pros
It runs smoothly, it's entertaining and since everything is either black or constantly moving (ie. no stationary objects) it truly saves the screen from burn-in. A good find.
Cons
Can't think of anything.
Summary
What an excellent screensaver. Highly customisable, quick exit and overall great

Pros
Great screensaver
Cons
Only slight one is that you have to put the .scr in the C:\WINDOWS folder (for XP users) manually. Other than that - none
Summary

Pros
A very nice and simple screensaver that could easily find itself among windows regular starfields and fractals. Easy install and instructions no spyware or adware as far as I have found.
Cons
Nothing super fancy, except for maybe the nice amount of variable settings.
Summary
Fabulous

Pros
I am into graphic screensavers that Mac's are known for. I'm not a fluff kind of person, sooo this is way cool for me.

Very easy to install! All you have to do is change the settings to get great quality images of twisting cyclones. Worth the 47K, recommended.
