This handy freeware makes it a snap to add, disable, or remove start-up programs. CuperUtilities Startup Manager's Explorer-like interface places functions and information right where experienced users would expect to find them. That makes it easy to operate this application with little or no instruction.

On open, CuperUtilities Startup Manager lists all start-up applications, and an easy-to-navigate Startup folder tree. Click any tree entry to display that folder's startup applications. Click any start-up program to disable, delete, move, or run it. Oddly, you can't sort the list by name or target file. Checking a program's properties takes just a click on the context menu. However, the properties dialog offers little information and is too small to show the complete Registry key.

This freeware is easy to install, operate, fast, and helpful. Though it lacks the functionality of expert programs in the genre, novice to expert users should still find it a very useful application.
