  Pros

  Nothing about the desktop version could be considered a "pro".

  Cons

  I have a full development laptop with 12GB of memory on Windows 8.1. This app crashes regularly and is slow in response even if it's the only thing running at the time. Shapes are all very unprofessional in appearance. Very frustrating to use.

  Summary

  I wouldn't recommend paying for the desktop version. Just use powerpoint instead. My server diagrams look unprofessional. Can't believe I paid good money for this software.

  Pros

  - Online sync - User submitted templates - Layout is difficult to use

  Cons

  - Very buggy - Not intuitive to use, elements hard to align and match - Does not scroll smoothly on my i7 Macbook SSD with 16GB Ram ... thats terrible - Updater does not work as it should. Downloads but choosing INSTALL does not install it - Saving does not always save all the elements or corrupts them - Elements do not match their templates (i.e. server with globe loses the globe) - Online support geared to "praise" their own features, not real problems that need solving

  Summary

  Although the online trial was better, the desktop version has really performed poorly. I have reverted to lovely charts and balsamiq as they are so much faster and easier to use and never crash. Really have dropped the ball with this product desktop version.

• One of the worst mind-mapping & flow charting programs

  Absolutely none

  Cons

  - Very buggy/glitchy. - Very expensive for what it tries to deliver - a rip off. - Sloppy graphics, very simplistic, shapes with edges misaligned, inconsistent sizes of all shapes, difficult to get images and text in the places you want, it can do weird things like randomly disappear text or randomly flip text upside down. - Data doesn't always get saved, even when it says it has saved, so you can discover the next time you start the program that it's reverted to an earlier version and you've lost all your work. - Give feedback to developers that is ignored and glitches are never fixed even though they say they'll "look at fixing it in the next upgrade".

  Summary

  I regret buying this piece of rubbish. I have used a number of different mind-mapping and flow charting programs - creately has got to be one of the worst.
