CrackTiff for Windows

This file compression tool converts and merges TIFF files; however, a strict trial restriction prevented us from seeing it through to the end.

CrackTiff has a plain but user-friendly interface. A Help feature is included, but you can easily find your way around without it. A tree menu on the left side of the window makes it easy to quickly find and select the TIFF files that you would like to compress. Basic command buttons at the top of the window let you convert and merge those files. The bottom window panel displays file information and compression results. During our tests, we tried to merge several TIFF files into one, but before the program could complete the job, we received an exception error message. You must register and purchase the program to complete the merge. We received the same error message when we tried to convert our TIFF file modes.

Thanks to the trial, we were never able to see CrackTiff's full capabilities. Without seeing complete results, we can't recommend this as a worthy compression tool.
