  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I just bought my copy and love the features of this program. So handy to have it right there in the window bar of Safari. I've tried TubeToy and other such programs but it seemed they always broke and weren't nearly as easy to use as this program. Speaking of preferences, this program has a nice popup window interface to set how you want the downloads converted/saved and such; with keystroke you can save sound file alone from a download, nice touches like that. I highly recommend trying out a demo of this program, you'll be hooked.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Just upgraded to CosmoPod 4.1 from version 3.1 and now I can't open a normal browser window. Only uninstalling CosmoPod 4.1 fixed the issue. Will be downgrading to CosmoPod 3.1 until I see feedback regarding a fix to this issue.

  It's easy to use, I can download videos from the internet to my Iphone in a very short time ! Its price is reasonable. The latest version 4.0 is compatible with MacOs 10.6

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Just a warning. This app doesn't work in Safari under Snow Leopard because i only runs 32 bit. So in order to use this you must use Safari in 32 bit mode, which bypasses all the wonderful security that the 64 bit version brought along. Consider something else until this is fixed! On leopard (10.5) this app rocks, so I hope the fix it soon!

If you want the best video downloader, buy CosmoPod. I have tried almost everything available, and CosmoPod simply works best in every category. It's fast, the interface is easy to use, the software installs quickly and the developer stands behind the product second to none.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />i have a wealth of video conversion tools on my Mac, but CosmoPod is the one i use most often as an easy way to grab and convert web video if it's going straight into iTunes. minimal configuration needed, it just works. this is the software i recommend to friends and family who don't have the technical knowledge to tweak video conversion settings. it's also well-priced for what it does. i have not had any of the crashes or issues others have reported here.

• Easiest Solution Around For Extracting Flash Video

In my opinion, the latest version of CosmoPod is by far the best overall solution if you are looking for an easy way to extract and convert Flash video from places like YouTube, DailyMotion, etc. Final video quality is much better than VideoBox (encoded for AppleTV), extracts video from more sites than TubeSock, PodTube or TubeTV, and is easier to use than any of them. Runs great under Safari 3.0.4, although I haven't yet upgraded to OS X 10.5 (Jaguar). Integration with RealPlayer is optional, and only necessary if you intend to extract from that format. This is a nice piece of software. Skip the free stuff. For only around USD $10, CosmoPod is a bargain that will enable you to start filling your hard drive at a frantic pace.
