  Let's you access several email accounts in the same place.

  It's basically a browser that accesses the accounts in their native format whether that format is a piece of junk or not.

  Summary

  I was looking for a way to access my Yahoo! email account on my PC without using AT&T's new crapware interface. Since all Compass does is provide another browser that uses the same interface, it's useless to me. I can set up a browser, Microsoft Internet Explorer comes to mind since I don't use it for anything, to do much the same thing as Compass. Sorry boys, I'll pass. Forget telling me to use another email account because I would have to send hundreds of change of address notices and then I probably wouldn't get half the email that I actually need to get.

  Pros

  The publishers of this program are AWESOME! They contacted via email after fixing the bugs I mentioned in my earlier review. All bugs that I could find have been fixed!

  Cons

  I'm rating this 3 stars now instead of 1 star! I would give this 5 stars, except for other not so serious issues I found. When initializing the program it doesn't remember window sizing or window positioning, and it doesn't remember email setups.

  Summary

  . As for the program remembering email setups, this can be a plus in regards to security, as the program is designed at this time. I would still like to see this program being coded to NOT associating itself with IE or any other browser. Then, the security could be even more sure and secure. Since the program is working off of Internet Explorer and Internet Explorer cookies, it is not as secure as it could be if it were a stand alone program. Also, if this program were stand alone there could be more accounts available per email provider. I have at least 3-4 accounts per email provider. The window sizing and position issues are not that much of a problem, but it would be nice if this program could remember when I maximize the program's window during the previous use of the program. One last comment ... When I am testing freeware I do an extra test that is very important to me personally. I am also testing for portable localized capabilities. What I do is install a program into my downloads folder on my main hard drive. I then copy that folder onto another external hard drive. Then I uninstall the program from my downloads folder on my main hard drive using the add/remove programs executable. I then initialize the copied program that is now on my external drive. Doing these extra steps helps in showing if a program can work after a complete uninstall of the originally installed program. You would be surprised how many freeware programs put hundreds of files all over the registry and all over the hard drive! This program seems to only put files into the main folder of the program. It appears that only the cookies are added to the PC. As far as I can tell this program is working in a portable and localized way. I'm not certain what traces are left on my PC from initializing this program other than cookies left on my PC. This could be fixed if the program did not rely on Internet Explorer. I still stand on my promise about getting the word out about this program once these issues have been addressed! One thing is certain ... I can keep this program on my eternal drive as an email program! IT WORKS GREAT!!!

  NEAT...... NEEDS FIXING! NEEDS IMPROVEMENT!

  When loading, if you have it setup to start in the system tray, the icon in the tray disappears. If you minimize to the system tray the icon in the tray disappears. This frustrating problem convinced me to delete this immediately. Sorry but no cigar.

  Summary

  To the programmer ... Contact me when you fix these problems. Thank you. Also, could you please make this stand alone, so we can have more than just one account per email provider. For example: two or more yahoo accounts, etc. I have several accounts per provider, depending on what I use the email accounts for. This program is useless to me if I can only have one account open per email provider, because that is how IE works. Also, please make this program completely portable so we can take it everywhere. Portability would make this program shoot through the roof with number of users using this program. These are some great suggestions to help you to make this program a bigger success. If I could program I would do all these things, but I cannot program too many things because my ability to remember processes is very limited. And, if you do all these things, and you fix the system tray problems, then I promise you I will spend time and resources to get the word out about this program. I currently use Firefox, and I use a Firefox add-on called "WebMail Notifier". This Firefox add-on allows me to have multiple email accounts checked per email provider. And, whenever I click, or right click, on the little icon on the bottom bar I can pull up one or all accounts simultaneously! This feature is very useful, and if you cannot do the same or better then I think your program can never compare to the WebMail Notifier's capabilities! The Firefox add-on website is: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4490/versions/ Please go check out that add-on, and see if you can make a stand alone, portable, program that can do what that add-on does, and maybe even do a little more!   After install the program, it just showed 404 pages. I didn't see anywhere to enter email account info. You can sign into Google via the website (I guess this is a Google thing), but I still just got "Not Found" pages.

  Pros

  Wow! Definitely the best version yet! Some killer sweet features! and finally i can minimize the application to the system tray, the quick preview mode has proven very useful too! New message creator is also great for creating emails quickly.

  Summary

  I have so many internet email accounts, this program helps me stay on top of all of them! Download it! The interface is extremely well designed and the feature set is really good too, like the description says; Why would you access your e-mail with a Web browser ever again? lol

  Pros

  I can read my email with no problem on yahoo, hotmail and gmail. It has a nice interface and it is friendly to used it. I would like that it could launch my favorite web browser: mozilla firefox and don´t Internet Explorer.

  -adblocker -caps lock warning -custom themes -fast load times - support for gmail, yahoo and hotmail -nice customizable interface - Common Controls Shortcut ( basically you can create a new message, access folders e.t.c by using keyboard shortcuts )

  Summary

  Simply put : This program is awesome! Version 1 was was good but version 2 is EXCELLENT! It not only allows you to access all your internet email clients (gmail, yahoo and hotmail) without the clutter of a web browser , but it does so much more! Some of my favorite features include the adblocker & a warning when caps lock is enabled (great for inputting passwords etc); features which web browsers do not have, these feature are the reasons that make this program so appealing, its dedicated to accessing your email, nothing else. Overall the program and interface look great; very user friendly, but if you want something different you can even change how it looks completely. I haven't used an internet browser for accessing my email account since getting this program. But the greatest thing of them all is its is its free, i mean why wouldn't you get it, really!

  This program awesome!! It's the only program i use to access my web email, the interface is clean and does not detract from mail. <p>This program has a lot of potential but AFTER YOU DOWNLOAD MAKE SURE TO UPDATE to the latest version (this can be done by clicking the "check for updates" button in the bottom left hand corner and then downloading the newest version. For some reason the version here is old (the new version has a lot of new features including....<p>-the ability to block yahoo and msn adds<p>-and ability to print
