Co-Ment allows many to elaborate collaboratively texts online. It offers a wiki-style editing environnement, supporting many syntaxes (Markdown, RST, HTML, and soonMediawiki), and it allows some sharply controlled layouts including table or images.But the main advantage of Co-Ment is its comment feature, allowing users to attach their remarks to sharp extracts of the text, leading to a text building procedure based on strong and equipped debates.Advanced comment navigation features are also provided, to discovernew annotations or go through the history of a debate. It's alsopossible to set up email alerts on text edits or new comments.Co-Ment is fitted with many import/export format support : TXT, DOC, ODT,HTML. With a special focus on layout respect.Co-Ment is available as a free web service, extended by pro accounts followingthe Wordpress model.Source code is available on the Co-Ment.org website, and Co-Ment is also bundledas a Drupal module.
