This top-notch application houses numerous items onto its Clipboard for recall and editing, but omits a help file. ClipViewer's double-paned interface is hot-key accessible and displays all clip information such as its format and source in its top pane and the clip's full text or graphical image in the bottom. Each clip is cleverly labeled by the program as plain text, RTF, file or folder, BMP, JPEG, or as an HTML Web page, and you can categorize as such. You can edit and save text clips and configure ClipViewer to automatically convert large BMP images to JPEG and even determine the percentage of file-compression quality, although there's no help file for further detail regarding this process. To conserve space, the program lets you decide on the number of items it saves and automatically begins erasing recorded clips once the memory used reaches the user-specified amount. With 60 uses during its trial, you'll quickly find ClipViewer a quality Clipboard assistant.
