Intended as a Clipboard enhancement, Clipboard Recovery falls short in several areas. No shortcuts to the program are created during installation and you'll have to click the program's executable file to launch it the first time. Clipboard Recovery's interface is pretty basic, with items displayed below columns for file type and size and a path autoassigned by the program. Unfortunately, it isn't possible to determine a clip's contents unless you right-click and select Preview Item, which opens your default text or image editor. This hampered quick cutting and pasting and proved inconvenient with larger collections. The single button offered, Menu, includes limited settings to minimize the program to the system tray or taskbar. The program only supports unformatted text and bitmap files, and files are deleted every time the program is closed. It's simple to use, but this freeware application's clip-management tools aren't all that impressive.
