Used Clip2Net for Windows?
Editors’ Review
Clip2Net is a handy utility that lets you quickly take screenshots, edit them, and upload them to the Internet, all through a smooth and intuitive interface. With two different package options to choose from, this program lets you pick the system that works for what you need.
Pros
Lite or Pro: With this program, you have two options in terms of the level of service you'd like to pay for. While they both provide unlimited storage time and an unlimited number of uploads, the Pro package includes a larger total storage space of 10,000MB as opposed to 1,000MB for the Lite version. The maximum upload size for Pro users is also larger, coming in at 2,000MB, with Lite users limited to 10MB at a time.
Smooth functioning: Taking a screenshot through this program couldn't be easier. Once you access the app icon in the lower Windows toolbar, you'll see a crosshair displayed on the screen. Just click and drag to frame the part of the screen you want to capture, and then let go when you have the image you want. This will immediately open an editing screen dominated by the screenshot you just took and featuring editing tools displayed around the edges, so you can add any marks or emphasis you'd like before uploading your shot.
Cons
Jumbled setup: Installing this app is a bit confusing because, as you create your account or log in through Facebook, you're repeatedly directed to Web pages in Russian. The confirmation emails sent are also in Russian, and while Google can translate these reasonably well, it's still a little jarring. Even after you've translated them, though, you may be left wondering how to actually access the program, as there are no clear instructions or Help file available.
Bottom Line
Clip2Net is extremely lightweight and easy to use, once you get past the minor installation headaches. It offers just the features you want in a program of this kind, without a lot of extra junk to get in the way. You can try the Pro version for free for 14 days, after which time, you'll have to decide whether to stick with Pro for $29.95 per year, or opt for Lite, which costs $11.95 annually.
