Editors’ Review
It's hard to argue with a program that reduces mouse clicks, but there's something a bit amateurish about ClickAndTimeSaver. There's no dedicated interface for the utility; it's accessed through your right-click menu. It seems fairly straightforward at first glance, but there are two notable exceptions.
A handful of easily understood features allows you to copy file information and send to the clipboard, create a desktop shortcut, and open a command prompt window. Then there are the cryptic options WindiffWith and Windiff. There's no help file to explain these shortcuts, and their operation is not intuitive at all. It was only after a visit to the publisher's Web site that we learned that you can compare two documents by using the two shortcuts together. It seems a bit convoluted, though.
We don't have any complaints about how ClickAndTimeSaver worked. It just needs a bit more polish to stand up against its numerous competitors. It costs less than a latte at your local cafe, but it may prove the rule that you do get what you pay for.
