  Covers every thing well I think to well for such a basic program

  I cant seem to change the quantity shiped so with that in mind the invoiceing if not working so I cant do invoiceing so I cant use the program ..

  Pros

  Asolutely NOTHING since it never loaded.

  Cons

  The software wouldn't load after install. I get an out of member error on a system with a 1Gb of free member. Also it will not uninstall. Tells me it can not open the install.log file. 30 seconds after install.

  Summary

  Don't corrupt you system with this software. It's not worth the free download. Now I am off to repair my OS.

  Pros

  This software is so easy to use. I am able to keep track of multiple bank accounts and reconcile them each month with ease. <p> <p>I used this software for several months and then added the check printing feature for $49.95. It is worth it. It allows me to print the checks instead of manually entering them. I would recommend this software to anyone.

  Cons

  I like everything about the software, however downloading from C-Net is an older version. I would recommend you go direct to their website which is freeaccounting.net. That way you are sure to have a newer version.

  Pros

  Worked for about 5 months. Corrupted my MSOffice runtime .mdb. Corruption may be due to 5 sleeper trojans detected in the .pdf exe help folder. Cannot explain. I'm disappointed.

  Splash screens are annoying.

  Pros

  I have used this program for a few years with my small business. It is easy to set up, easy to use, and provides everything you need to know about your small business at a glance; from your assets and sales revenue to your expenses and liabilities and everything in between. I liked it so much I recently downloaded it again on my personal laptop to use to track our household expenses as an alternative to certain big named financial planning software because they were too difficult to learn to use. The HELP section is easy to read and navigate too. Highly recommend this program.

  To install, I took the advice of another reviewer and put in the code manually in lowercase without cut and paste, and it worked fine. <p> <p> <p>It then installed, but when I opened it up, I deleted the sample company without thinking because I wanted to start a new, clean database...and it seems this is DEMO software and it won't let you make a new company. <p> <p> <p>So I had to uninstall it, and like someone else said the uninstall doesn't work...I had to manually tell it where to find the install log (called cainstall.log instead of install.log, and was in the C:\Program Files\Choice Accounting folder), which isn't something a non-techie could do. (I work as tech support for a software company, so it wasn't too hard for me). It then uninstalled it using the icon for uninstalling in the C:\Program Files\Choice <p> <p>I reinstalled it, and when I opened it up I made sure to keep the demo company, and I opened that, but still no way to make a new company or account. <p> <p> <p>So I tried to delete the demo data, and it was a hassle and I didn't fight it to figure it out, not after the above. <p> <p> <p>So, just so everyone knows, this is a demo program. It's a bit buggy, and a bit crippled. If you have the patience to get it going it might be worth something, but I think personally I'll just go buy something else.

  Installed ok but after startup (yes, I rebooted)program indicated missing PCac.ini file and then indicated it needed to create the PCAcCmp97.mdb. Clicing yes to allow creation only resulted in beep, beep...had to say NO... Bah Humbug.. <p>I noticed that "skipping file" was displayed from time to time during install. <p>I was logged in as Administrator on Win XP/SP2... a system that runs 24/7 with no problems. so..blah...

• Download is corrupted

  Pros

  I tried it once and it worked fine. Really good starter program and gives you different GL accounts for different types of businesses.

  Cons

  Download is now corrupted. It doesn't work anymore. When I switched computers and needed a new download I went back and downloaded (I should have saved the first one). It downloaded OK and took the key code. But then would not run. Tried it a few times and gave up. This download no longer works. its useless.
