Child Timer is a software tool that allows parents to control the amount of time their children spend on the computer. You can manage each child separately and limit access time by both day and weekly limits. No more fighting - the software will log the child off once they exceed their daily or weekly allowance of time. Parents can extend time or manage as needed. Software supports up to 6 children in the household.

Version 1.1 includes patch for weekly time limit loop hole.

- After installing on Windows 7 it crashed Windows completely, unbelievable annoying. - 5 day trial (!) - Remarkably the 'over enthusiastic' users of this product have rather the same account name...

Easy to use. EXCELLENT Customer Support. New Version woks GREAT with Windows Vista. You can't beat it for the price! My computer savvy kids can't get around it.

After purchasing several parental control programs I was very frustrated how difficult they were to use - until I came across Childtimer. I have never seen a software so easy to use! Customer Support is Great! My computer has Windows Vista which comes with Parental Control Software built in but it is very difficult to use. All the other products out there are in the $40 and up range. For only $20 Childtimer is well worth it! Even if Childtimer was $100 it would still be well worth it! My wife and I love it! Finally we don't have to disconnect and hide the cable modem before going to bed so our teenagers won't spend all night on the computer!

after install, I went to set up for my child. not clear how to do setup, but I took a stab... and then found that Windows Explorer / the windows toolbar had vanished... desktop had vanished.
Summary
After above problems, ctrl-alt-delete didn't even pull up the popup window to restart computer. Restarted computer twice due to this problem. This is a clean, fairly new computer, pretty vanilla Dell. No reason for this from my side. Uninstalling as fast as I can.

Pros
I have tested many parental control software programs but most were very complicated to use and take a lot of time to get used to. Childtimer takes seconds to install and seconds to learn. Straight forward, easy and sharp design! My child went from 6 hours of daily internet time to 1.5 hours daily thanks to Childtimer! I can't wait for future updates! EXCELLENT WORK

The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that they didn't event it sooner!

All I had to do was simply set the time limits for each child and then walk away. <p>The kids were able to login in and out of their accounts without any problems and now I don't have to worry about it. Love it.
