Used Chameleon Window Manager Lite for Windows?
Editors’ Review
Most modern computers have the processing power to run lots of programs at once with no problem, but that leads to a new issue: a desktop cluttered with open windows. Chameleon Window Manager Lite is a clever program that adds extra ways to handle windows without making major changes to the way your desktop functions.
The program's interface is plain and easy to figure out. When it's first launched, Chameleon Window Manager displays a configuration menu where you can customize the way the program acts. Once it's running, the program simply adds extra buttons to each window's title bar; in addition to the usual buttons for minimizing, restoring, and closing the window, there are buttons for moving the window to the left or right side of the screen, making the window transparent, keeping the window on top, minimizing the window to the system tray, and minimizing the window to its caption. We found that these extra functions made it a lot easier to work with multiple open windows; we were able to keep more windows visible and find what we were looking for much more quickly. The program doesn't come with a Help file, but this is not a major drawback, as it's pretty easy to figure out. Overall, we think that Chameleon Window Manager Lite is a great choice for those who tend to have multiple programs or windows open at once.
