Do you ever have to repeatedly have to do spreadsheet grids, where you have to split a total value across several columns? It can be a very tedious time consuming job. The main purpose of this software is it generates a grid and allocates the values split according to the percentage criteria you set. This software was designed for easy splitting of staff bonuses for shared deals, envisaged for use in typical call center commissions environment. It could also be used for book keeping to split VAT from other accounting codes, or any other purpose where a value has to be split across grids. Before importing data into the software, use the split settings to determine the splits the software will do, and the symbol that the software will use to split the value on. (Manual and global split changes can also be done after agent names and totals have been imported into the software) The software can build and do up to 5 way splits. The current version of the software requires that & indicates the split, and the word Total must appear before the value of the split. Example: Chris & Phil Total 100. The software will build a grid with column and row heads Chris, Phil, and by default do a 50/50 split. More specialized splits can be done in the settings upto 5 way splits. The software will use the "&" indicator to determine the split. So if you set up a split 25 / 75, a column head for Chris and Phil will be created, giving a 25% / 75% split in the order that agents are named before and after the "&" symbol. Splits can be done globally or manually.
