Cerebral Imprint is a tool to help you memorize whatever you want to memorize. Information is entered into the tool as flash cards with a textual front and back. Cards can then reviewed in a number of ways; "flash card" style where one views the front than flips the card over, multiple choice mode where the uses selects the correct answer from 4 possible answers, and a short answer style where the user types in exactly what the flip side of the card says.
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Very simple flash card quizzer. It's free, and you get what you pay for. There are better looking flash card programs out there, and there are ones which help you learn. This just shows cards and lets you decide if you got the answer right once you virtually flip it over.
This simplicity is either a benefit or a hinderance, depends on your point of view. For something a bit more robust but also cheap, check out Genius. If you want bells and whistles, that seems to be iFlash's stock in trade.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I like this program a lot, and its simplicity isn't a problem. The fact that it actually works as flashcards (letting you decide yourself if you got the question right or not) is incredibly helpful, especially when doing a language where adding a space or using another period would make a different program decide you got the question wrong.
The biggest issue I have is that there's no way of controlling the font size of the card contents, which means that the Chinese is showing up way too small, which makes it pretty hard to deal with.
Another less important thing is that it would be nice to be able to test multiple decks together.
In any case, kudos to the developer, and I hope it will be possible to set up the fonts and sizes soon.
Works fine w/10.3.5
