• Don't Download to play spades

  1. No help in the game. I had to go to the forum to figure out how to bid in spades. 2. I could not figure out how to see what other people bid. 3. After all players put their card in for the trick, the cards zip off the screen.

  Summary

  I downloaded this game to specifically play spades with a computer. It took forever to figure out how to bid and then I could never figure out how to see what other people bid (especially my partner). After the trick is won the cards zip off the screen so fast, you don't even have a chance to look at them. There was an option to slow the speed at which the cards moved from the screen, but that only caused bugs to appear (i.e. three cards would move off the screen before the trick was completed). It would be much better to at least give the user the option of having to click or hit a key before the cards move from the table. You can go back and look at all the hands played in a separate window. I can't speak to the other games. For me, I'm going to keep looking. I downloaded version 3.6.

  Clean appearance.

  Cons

  Only played Euchre ...but, it is not very clear as to who called up the cards, never got to pass/play and appeared to not use conventional clockwise turn starting w/ player to the left. It also uses a Joker I was unable to turn off (settings not changeable). Uninstalled, but it may be worth your time if you have time to explore other games.
