Canvas Desktop Dicom Server simplifies the complexity of DICOM networking and Modality worklists. The application acts as the gateway between your Electronic Health Records or Practice Management system and your diagnostic devices. The modality worklist provides Computerized Order Entry ( CPOE ) for imaging orders and the storage services will accept output from your diagnostic devices. Canvas DDS is not a full PACS , but will convert the dicom results into formats that your EHR can easily recognize. It will convert images to JPEG and encapsulated PDF reports to PDF. Canvas DDS is a desktop solution and does not require a server unlike most other DICOM network applications. Managing Canvas Dicom services is easy. When the application runs, the services run, when you exit, the services are stopped. This makes management of dicom services extremely easy. Image orders can be added via the interface or imported from a wide variety of formats. Currently, Excel files, CSV, and XML files are supported. These files can be generated by your EHR and imported. Image orders dicom results are created in real time, so any changes to your image orders are always current. Canvas DDS also supports multi-scp operations so each instrument can have dedicated services. This means no backlogging of imaging or results. The Modality Worklist Service class provider is modular, so if you have a modality that requires a specific format for an IOD, please contact us and we can update the worklist. Add ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM codes to your modalities and procedures to ensure correct billing auditing. Print or e-mail your schedules for auditing purposes.
