• Works. really works.

  Easy to install, simple to use. EFECTIVE in my case. Works. No more swearing at the computer, I promise. :)

  I should have gotten it earlier. Months of aggravation would have been spared.

  Summary

  I use Verizon wireless, I live in a low coverage area. The service was almost unusable until I got Stayalive Pro for free. It's like night and day. I experiemented and found that setting it up to ping every five seconds eliminated getting kicked off. The performance of my internet is so so so much better, I highly reccomend it. I use internet Explorer 8, Windows XP.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Aug 13, 2009<p/>Oh, really important!! Set it up to Ping. Otherwise, it will use up your data allowance, if you are on a plan which limits how much data you can download.

  it will stay online but also tries dialing out to other sights that you don't want

  i had to go back and restore my system before the install very bad takes over your computer i couldn't even get into my start then to my programs to delete the program very bad program

  Pros

  it does help me stay connected.. furthermore, it utilising 2 types of process which is ping and http simulate.. also, it has countdown to the next pinging.. so that we know when it will ping next.. other software, would just sudeenly stop pinging.. and at the end, we lost the connection.. so, this one really work for me..

  cannot be stored in tray.. just minimize..

  This product does not work for MSN Internet. I have been testing for about 2 weeks and every day the system logs me off. I contacted BySoft to try to find out what to do twice with no response from them. Perhaps it works for other ISPs.

  It does what the author says it does.

  Cons

  It's shareware even though it is listed as free. Whenever you start your computer or restart it, you have to manually retrieve the program in order for it to work or show up the the task tray. There are free programs that will work just as well or maybe better.
