The Outlook Connector is more than just a "plug-in" for Outlook. It is a full message store provider for Outlook. The Outlook Connector makes it possible for Outlook to connect to groupware IMAP servers just like it does, natively with Microsoft Exchange. Other plug-ins for Outlook simply synchronize data back and forth. The Outlook Connector gives the end-user a full groupware experience between Outlook and the IMAP groupware server.

My experience has been all positive in my tests.
Summary
I downloaded this, along with Bynari's BCS Server (I got the BCS trial from their website), to test with a test group in my organization. Basically I just rolled it out to the IT staff for a test. We can't can't tell the difference between this and being on an Exchange server. Rolling this out to the entire company will save us a lot of money! Thank you Bynari!
