Stay online and in touch with BuzMe's free Internet call waiting and voicemail service. BuzMe, which works on your existing phone number, allows you to receive and respond to phone calls while online. Complete with caller ID and your own private voicemail, it's a must-have for single-phone-line Internet users. As calls come in, BuzMe delivers them to your desktop and tells you who's calling. You may then go offline and take the call, type a text-to-speech reply that is read to the caller, send the call to voicemail, or reject it, all with just a few mouse clicks.

Plus, BuzMe's voicemail operates as a regular telephone company message center, taking and storing your messages. You may check your stored voice messages via the telephone or the Web. Your Microsoft Outlook Contacts can be imported into BuzMe's address book, and BuzMe's call log stores the phone numbers of everyone who calls you.

It's okay for the money.

This service is okay for the little bit of money that it costs. Althoug it could be much better.
Cons
Their update is totally messed up---so much so, that I was mssing all of my calls.. I had to delete their update and go with the previous version to get it to work. And any support or advice is almost nil. Letting me too figure out a cure for the problem myself.

Customer service does not exist. They will only send you canned answers, regardless of what your trouble e-mail described. Turn around on customer service e-mails is 2 days and there is no way to talk to someone to resolve problems in their software.

I picked this product over CallWave because it seemed to have more features, and it was cheaper. The trial product worked well, so we thought Buzme was reliable. Buzme support has been good, by trying to help find solutions to the problems.
Cons
After the trial expired and we paid our $15 yearly fee, Buzme didn't work correctly one time. We have traded e-mails with techsupport but to no avail. We definitely DO NOT recommend using Buzme for anyone!

Being retired and online more today then when working. The family complained constantly about not being able to contact us. I found the BuzMe service to be excellent. The download to install process was simple to follow and the activation took only a few days. There is a $1.00 per month charge for fixed busy call forwarding with local phone company. We have been using the service for little over one year without a problem. Hopefully the BuzMe team does not end the free service some time in the future. Those experiencing problems should look to their computer's system and especially the internal modem device itself. Many blame the program and related service for connectivity problems. Have to consider the computer system, modem and telephone lines in the problem search and repair.
