BrainWave Generator is a brain-stimulation application that creates sounds with binaural beats. It can be used for relaxation, meditation, enhancing learning capabilities, sleep induction, self-hypnosis, and more. You can add a wide variety of new effects, including background voices or noise, up to four independent sound channels, and sound waveforms. Version 3.1 includes a visual stimulation feature that flashes the computer screen at a set frequency. It also includes several more sound parameters than previous versions.
You have to look around to find some really good presets.
Summary
Great software. I use it to help me fall asleep and also wake up in the morning. It uses binural beats which are safe and are able to change your mood, make you sleepy, help you concentrate, etc. It's a lot like i-doser but better!

THERE WAS A TROJAN VIRUS IN THE PROGRAM AFTER IT INSTALLED AND TRIED TO RUN. Luckily my computer's virus program caught it.

Pros
I have used this program (on a different computer) in the past and liked it.
Cons
My AVG won't let me run it because it gives me a threat page that it is a trojan and to get rid of it.
Summary
I don't know what's going on but I won't be downloading this program until the threat is refuted.

I have owned the CD for 4-5 years - like it very much.
foxpage2008
Pros
I own BrainWave Generator 3.1. I have moved and cannot get it re-registered. I teach meditation and make CD's for my students with their choice of music using this software. I make CD's to use in my computer while I work, write, read and study.
Cons
I make basic sounds and then move it to another location to overlay the music. I learned meditation when I was 16 and have been a meditatior all my life and I am 75. I meditate very quickly without sounds, but I find many uses for Binaural Beats.
Summary
For those who have problems with Binaural Beat sounds, go to "Binaural Beats" Wikipedia, there is more research than most want to read and this software is reviewed there with several others. Alcohol or drugs (including some prescription drugs) do not mix with Binaural Beats, as well as many other medical and mental problems, in my teachings I have only found one person that had seizures and recommended against using this type of meditation.
Can you really BUY this software?
The-Mooncrow
Pros
The un-registered version is very good
Cons
I've been emailing 'Regsoft', 'Noromaa' and a couple of others for th last week to find out about payment but they don't answer me so i'm beginning to think that they don't want to sell it to me.
Summary
Don't think it's going to be easy to buy this product, you probably won't get any replies.
Contains Trojan Virus "Generic 11.LE"
kv96ic28
Pros
Download of the installation file on February 5, 2009. Detected the Trojan upon extraction. Isolated the malicious software. Cleaned out the infection. Conducted a subsequent download. Confirmed that the server was compromised.
Cons
Apparently the initial file was clean when submitted to CNET. However, there was a redirection to a harmful secondary server. Therefore, i strongly caution against this download.

I did this because sometimes the infection occurs while in process and not from the primary server. confirmed that the server was compromised.
