Blueberry PDF Form Filler is a free downloadable desktop program that enables you to fill in PDF forms, regardless of what format they're in - even PDFs that can't be filled in using Adobe Reader! There are over 20 million PDF Files on the web, and over half constitute some kind of printable form - from insurance claims, mortgage applications, invoices, order forms, employment applications, and so on. As you will have realised, many PDF forms are not editable by Adobe Reader. The traditional way of filling in these non-fillable PDF forms is to print them off and then fill them in by hand. I scanned a document, printed it to make sure it was a good scan. When I imported it into Blueberry all I got was a black screen. Tried this several times with the same result.
Summary
It looks like they spend time developing a usable interface, and it has a lot of good ratings but it looks like this edition has a few flaws.

Pros
As a pdf editor/filler it makes one of a hell job. It recognize all the fields on a document and letts you fill those fields even if the document is locked or password protected, so it works even like some kind of password cracker so to tell.
Cons
It doesn keep the pages that have no fields so you loose these pages. Needs some other minor updates and improvements.
Summary
If you need something just to fill the fields on a protected/locked pdf document then this is your tool. But only for that. I suppos that has to be moved to password/crack/unlock category and not to pdf editors. You can overcome the lost pages thought if you work simultaneously with an other editor and merger.
Version 2.0.48.0 works great!! Fast & easy, no gimmicks

Very nice PDF editor, and I've tried many!! Works well, intuitive UI, clean and easy to use. Free beta version works as expected, no "gotcha" charging features, full version functionality, no disabled features. No more printing out and manually filling out flat PDF forms. Cheers to Blueberry...

1) No disabled features like the other PDF editor freeware (I just hate getting the full version, don't you?) 2) No adware or popups (Very disappointing, all the other PDF freeware ruins my registry, why doesn't this one? Where are the malware search engines?) 3) No "gotcha" charges (I was expecting some gimmicky charges and forced watermarks - such a let down...) 4) Too simple and easy to use (I expected to spend at least a couple of hours to work through the functionality, but was able to fill text on a flat PDF form and get a clean print out in <10 minutes on the first try... Now what I am going to do with my extra time?? Unthinkable!!)

I almost disregarded this product due to the negative comments. But then I looked at the date of when the comments were made, and that there was a newer version 2.0.48.0 available. So I gave it a shot, and was pleasantly surprised at how well the software worked. A clean install (on a Windows 8 machine), with no gimmicks whatsoever. I also liked that it wasn't bloated with capabilities I'll never use. Many other of the "popular" PDF editors do not do what this software does. I've tried many, and have a ruined registry to prove it. It is a PDF Form Filler that works as expected, and works well. I've never heard of Blueberry Consultants before, but cheers to them on a good product!!

The quality of this program is not ready for release to the public, even in a very early Beta. Doesn't recognize readily evident boxes; Insert box at arbitrary location on form, if there is a box under that is difficulty to manage.
Summary
download.cnet.com should remove this program from the offerings even if it is free. An absolute waste of time and frustrating to try to use. I have a pretty good expectations of software garnered since commencing involvement with computers at the IBM1401 stage, and this program is among the worst I have encountered and does not approach fulfilling the description.

Totally unsuitable for form filling. Instead of FILLING a form, it overwrites the prompts.

Pros
If the form has large boxes and rectangular areas then if you're lucky it will find the fields, especially using the mouse hover function.
Cons
Very tedious to use. It will print its own stored fields as an overlay, but alignment is not precise. Acrobat doesn't recognize the saved fields, just the overlay and then only a small piece of the overlay. Overlay is not aligned.

It is freeware and was easy to install.
Cons
Form fields were not recognized by Blueberry Form filler and trying to make form fields was simply frustrating. When I was able to make a block to fill, it was not what I needed when it was saved to print. Multiple attempts didn't solve the problems.
Summary
I tried a number of times using different approaches to try and fill the PDF forms with the needed information. Blueberry PDF FF did not recognize the areas that needed to be filled and trying to manually develop the blocks to fill was impossible. The form I tried to fill was very basic .. Name, address, phone, etc. and I could not get the filled information to enter correctly. This software is a good idea for the person who needs to fill out the occasional PDF form, but this software is not the answer. I am glad I have a good uninstaller program to remove all the Blueberry PDF Form Filler roots from my registry and the Comodo Firewall to detect and block this programs attempts to contact a website in the background when opened. Spyware? I don't know, but I blocked their attempts to contact a website when I opened their program.

Essentialy didnt work, not in a usable manner - placing of blocks not intiuitive, but not too bad, main issue was printing, just made a mess of the document, overlaying the original with a smaller version, looks like two pages, one on top of another
